Visitors new to Y DNA testing are advised to read the DNA Q & A.

The great majority of Hurley/Herlihy/Harley project members fall somewhere under R1b, which is not surprising since it is the dominant Y haplogroup of Europe. Notable haplogroups emerging under R1b:
