There was apparently a name change from Herlihy to Hurley in this family. Mary Long ended up widowed in the United States. On her marriage record to her second husband James Walsh, it says, "Mary Harlehy alias Long."
There are two baptism records that roughly fit what is known about the family. One is the 07 Feb 1849 baptism for a Daniel. The other baptism is for a brother John 07 Apr 1850. Both were in St. Mary's R.C. Parish, Cork City. A marriage record has not been found for the parents.
This tester does not have Hurley or Herlihy matches, and has a distant Y DNA relationship with men named Sheehan. He falls under R-CTS4466 probably under Z16252 > BY2881.
